Answer To Question 5:
The centre’s criteria for providing IVF/ICSI is a clinical indication for IVF/ICSI, a BMI for the female partner of under 35 for obstetric reasons, a female age of under 44 as above this age we would be unlikely to recommend treatment due to the success rate and satisfactory completion of the welfare of the child assessment which is a regulatory requirement of the HFEA. There are no other criteria although we assess all cases on an individual basis and reserve the right to decline treatment if for any reason we have concerns but this would be discussed with the patient.
