Salisbury Foundation Trust can confirm that Mr Khan has worked at the Trust as a Plastic Surgeon since 2009. He has been suspended from work since August 2021.
The Trust has been reassured by the National Crime Agency investigation team that none of the charges relate to Mr Khan's clinical work at Salisbury District Hospital.

If any of our patients or their parents and guardians who have been treated by Mr Khan at Salisbury Hospital have any concerns we would encourage them to contact our Patient Advocacy and Liaison Service (PALS)Â for support."

Dr Collins added:
"Patients awaiting treatment by Mr Khan will be transferred to an alternative surgeon at the hospital and will be directly notified by the team.
If anyone has information that may help the investigation these need to be directed to the National Crime Agency on 0370 4967622."
