  • The role of the skin cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is to support patients at diagnosis, through treatment and follow-up appointments in clinics. They also provide patients with education on managing and preventing skin cancer.

  • The role of the Navigator is to coordinate the administrative aspects of the cancer pathway, including arranging investigations, booking appointments, and keeping the patient informed.

  • Cancer Support Workers offer emotional and practical advice and support to patients around their diagnosis, treatment, and beyond. They can support both over the phone and at appointments and can signpost to wider support services.
